Retail coatings, built for rollouts

Painting and decorating, spray painting, and taping and jointing for national retail rollouts, single shop fits, and refurbishment programmes. Delivered to brand standard, store after store, across the UK.

Retail finishing, delivered to brand standard

Retail clients buy consistency. The finish on the wall in store 1 must match the finish in store 50, and the programme must land on time at every site. That is what national rollouts demand, and it is the work that shapes how Trusted Coat operates.

We deliver coatings packages for Marks & Spencer, Starbucks, Costa, KFC, and Pets at Home, across new fits, rollouts, and ongoing refurbishment work. The same in-house teams handle everything from full shop fit decoration through to HVLP spray work on shop fronts, internal doors, and coffee counters in situ.

Built for rollouts

Programme-friendly delivery across multiple sites

Retail rollouts run on tight programmes, with multiple sites moving through the same sequence at the same time. Our model is built for it.

Nationwide teams, fast mobilisation

Teams spread across the UK, which means we can mobilise quickly when start dates move, when variations land, or when a programme tightens up at short notice.

Consistent finish across every site

Trained operatives applying the same systems to the same standard, store after store. Brand consistency is treated as the default, not the goal.

One contractor, full coatings package

Painting, drylining finishing, and spray work all delivered in-house. One set of programme dates, one quality standard, and no handover gaps between trades.

Out-of-hours and access-restricted work

Most retail work happens around live trading hours and around landlord access conditions. We work to those constraints rather than around them.

What we deliver in retail

The full retail coatings package

Shop fit and refurbishment painting

Walls, ceilings, woodwork, and full surface preparation across new shop fits and refurbishment work. Trade-grade Dulux as our default specification, applied to the brand standards specified by the client.

HVLP spray work

HVLP for shop fronts, shutters, doors, frames, and coffee counters sprayed in situ to a factory-quality finish. Particularly common across rollouts where brand standards demand a smooth, consistent finish on visible retail elements.

Wall coverings

Wall covering installation across retail interiors where the brand specification calls for more than paint. Delivered as part of the same package, by the same team.

Taping and jointing

Drylining finishing on partitions and ceilings during shop fit and refurbishment work. Faster and cleaner than wet plaster, with reduced drying times that keep the rest of the programme moving.

Retail clients we work with

National brands, single shop fits, and everything in between

We have delivered retail coatings work for Marks & Spencer, Starbucks, Costa, KFC, and Pets at Home, alongside main contractors and fit-out companies running national programmes across the UK. Each of these brands has its own standards, programme expectations, and approval processes, and the same in-house team handles all of it.

Working safely in retail environments

Site-specific RAMS, controlled working areas, and full PPE

Retail sites bring their own safety considerations, often with adjacent units trading, public access, and shared loading areas to manage. Site-specific risk assessments and method statements are agreed with site management before work begins, and our standard equipment, including air-fed respirator systems on spray work and dust extraction during preparation, keeps the working environment safe for our team and for anyone working alongside us.

Got a retail rollout or shop fit coming up? Let’s talk.

Whether the project is a single shop fit or a multi-site rollout, we are happy to talk through the scope, the programme, and the brand standards involved.
